As the owner of White Owl Financial Advisors, Sandra Stowe finds great joy in building lasting relationships with her clients and helping them with their comprehensive financial planning needs. She recognizes that finances are a fundamental component of people's hopes, dreams, fears, and emotions and finds the financial industry a perfect place to utilize her desire to help people change the trajectory of their lives.
Sandra specializes in serving individuals and small business owners. She enjoys helping and empowering women in meeting their financial goals, and her unique experiences as a professional woman give her insight into how to best meet their individual financial circumstances.
Sandra graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Industrial Engineering/Operations Research. She spent the early part of her career as a consultant, working at Andersen Consulting and JP Morgan. Before founding White Owl Financial Advisors in 2018, she spent over 20 years expertly building Financial Technology solutions for investment banks and wealth management and asset management institutions.
In addition to working with her clients, Sandra feels invested in her community and enjoys volunteer service. She has served on the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Women's Leadership Conference Task Force, the WakeMed Foundation DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) Strategic Task Force, Girls on the Run Triangle Treasurer and Finance Committee Chair and is currently serving on the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce DEI Conference Task Force. Through her work with these organizations and women's networks throughout the Triangle, Sandra aims to actively support women and the future generation of women to achieve financial freedom through early awareness, education, and planning.

In her free time, Sandra enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and staying active through tennis, volleyball, and other outdoor activities. She also loves traveling and immersing herself in different cultures, foods, and languages. She lives in North Carolina with her husband, two children, and dachshund, Charlie. Sandra's greatest goal is to teach her children to do what they love and never to underestimate the positive impact they can make in other people's lives. Her personal mission is to learn, grow, and become a better person every day.
